2016 Highlights – Travel & Adventure

2016 was an amazing year packed full of travel, adventures and great times spent with family and friends. From New York City to the Tasmanian Wilderness, The French Alps to the Glorious Peak District. I can’t wait to see what 2017 brings.

The music in the video is a remix of a few of the songs I used and made during the year, if you’d like to hear it again you can check it on SoundCloud or via the embedded player below.

  1. Hello Mr Read (aka ‘Deano’).
I have been watching your videos on YouTube for about a year now & am totally hooked. I just love the style & presentation of what you do. Although I have been camping all my life and love adventure, the kids, job & general busy life has limited the adventure somewhat over the years. So when you & the guys introduced me to the concept of the “over nighter” I suddenly realised that not all camping needs to be an expedition. My mate, Danny, & I now regularly slot in micro adventures, in our own Bushcraft woods, more specifically in Sussex, which makes life (in your words) “All good”.
Just one question. What is it that You, Jay & Ray do for a living? You regularly mention shift work, earlies, lates & nights so I wonder if you do the same ‘job’ that Danny & Myself do?
    Please keep the adventures coming.
    Yours Inspired.
    Smilesy.

    1. Hi Steve,

Thanks for watching the videos and taking the time to head over to the website and leave a comment. My daughter is getting older now and my girlfriend is very supportive and facilitates my adventures so I’m very lucky. My mate Jay and I work together in a boring job in the medical industry where we work continental shifts… 4 on 4 off, days and nights. Nothing exciting sadly but it pays the bills and allows us time to spend with family and outdoors during those 4 days off.

Thanks again for watching the videos.
      All the best.
      Dean
